2012	2012/03/02 We will hold a meeting for prospective students on April 27th 2012, to provide them with an opportunity to discover our laboratories within our "open labs" initiative. 2012/02/14 We will hold the 3rd Mini Open Campus on March 24th in Kyoto University Tokyo Office. 2012/02/01 Kyoto University Spring Design School 2012 will be held on March 12th and 13th, 2012.
2011	2011/12/21 Dr. Yasser Mohammad (Assiut University, a graduate from this department) and Prof. Toyoaki Nishida received SII2011 Best Paper Award (Control) from 2011 IEEE/SICE International Symposium on System Integration, December 20-22, 2011, Kyoto Japan. 2011/12/09 Prof. Hiroshi G. Okuno was elevated to IEEE Fellow for contributions to robot audition technology 2011/11/09 Prof. Toyoaki NISHIDA received Outstanding Contribution Awards from IEEE CS Granular Computing in recognition of his innovative and highly significant contributions to the fields of Social Intelligence and Granular Computing.
